D-Day Memorial Ceremonies, June 6, 2008

June 6, 1944. The Allied Forces launch the largest fleet in history to storm the beaches of Normandy beginning the liberation of Europe from Nazi power. The National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA hosts Remembrance ceremonies for those who were there and those who never returned. Virginia Governor Mark Warner was on hand to honor the D-Day Veterans in attendance.
